Job Description
CONSTRUCTION DIVISION
-
Lead and provide expert advice and guidance on safety, health and hygiene practices at construction sites.

Oversee the development, implementation and continuous improvement of project safety and health policies and procedures.

Manage and maintain effective liaison with relevant safety enforcement authorities and regulatory bodies.

Ensure full compliance with all statutory requirements and authority regulations on safety and health matters.

Review and present monthly safety and health performance reports to Project Manager and senior management.

Lead safety induction programs and drive continuous safety awareness initiatives across all site personnel.

Identify high-risk areas, unsafe practices and potential hazards, and implement effective mitigation and control measures.

Review construction sequences and ensure risk assessments and safe work methods are properly established and enforced.

Lead and coordinate incident and accident investigations, including root cause analysis and submission of reports with corrective actions to management.

Supervise and guide Safety & Health Officers and site safety personnel in carrying out their duties in compliance with the Act and relevant Regulations.

Promote a strong safety culture and drive continuous improvement initiatives across project sites.
REQUIREMENTS:

Registered Competent Safety & Health Officer with DOSH.

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Safety & Health, Environmental Management or related field.

Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in construction safety and health, with leadership exposure preferred.

Strong knowledge of local safety regulations and compliance requirements.

Good leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Willing to work flexible hours based on project requirements.
-
Willing to be stationed at Kota Samarahan, Sarawak.
