Job Description

REQUIREMENTS:

•    Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Business Administration, Accounting or related discipline. 
•    Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience in contract administration, legal support and procurement functions.
•    Good understanding of commercial agreements and legal documentation processes. 
•    Experience in the port or maritime industry is an advantage.
•    Good oral and written communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
•    Good interpersonal skills and ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office application, i.e Ms Excel, Word & Power Point.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:    

The role is to support the various responsibilities of the Procurement & Contract Department, including:

•    Process new applications and renewals of agreement from the management, users, or contractors. 
•    Monitor contract expirations and ensure timely renewal process, including administration fees, insurance coverage, and bank guarantee tracking. 
•    Manage the complete contract lifecycle, including drafting, managing negotiation processes, stamping, signing and documentation of agreements and addendums. 
•    Evaluate the performance and compliance of each agreement prior to its expiry date.
•    Ensure compliance with relevant company policies including HSE and security requirements within contractual arrangements.
•    Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the contract lifecycle
•    Prepare comprehensive recommendation reports to management for new agreements, renewals, and terminations
•    Manage IMS and ABMS controlled documents across departmental units, ensuring proper tracking and compliance.
