MANAGER (M&E)

Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Coordinate M&E design and installation issues on a range of projects to ensure the profitable and safe delivery of projects on time construction work to ensure that it is in line with project quality plans, specifications and the conditions of contract.
• Assist in supervising the site M&E teams’ setup, monitoring and tracking progress, providing regular updates to Management to ensure effective allocation of resources.
• Assist in the preparation of turnkey proposals, alternative designs (including in-house projects and temporary works) and tendering of projects.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors, including monitoring the progress and following up with sub-contractors on approved work.
• Liaise with contractors or equipment suppliers, conduct final verification on work plans for Management’s approval.
• Inspect the work and design compliance of M&E subcontractors.
• Enforce adherence of site safety and health rules and procedures in order to achieve compliance with the Company’s Quality System, occupational safety, health and environmental requirements.
• Coach and motivate staff; identify learning opportunities for staff development and advancement.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical engineering or related field.
• Experience in fast-track projects added advantage.
• Sound technical knowledge of building works, mechanical works and electrical works.
• Well-versed with industry statutory requirements in ensuring compliance.
• Knowledge of local business and government rules and regulations.
• Willing to be stationed at Penang or Kedah.
