Job Description
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in short-listing suppliers and contractors, checking compliance, completeness, and accuracy of tender submissions and carrying out technical clarifications and price negotiations prior to recommendation for Management’s approval
- Provide support to management on the award of contractors and suppliers and with Procurement or Project Executives on material scheduling in order to facilitate effective contract management.
- Assist in monitoring and managing the overall administration of the various contracts and sub-contract works including assistance with preparation of progress reports, the recommendation of payments, variation order certificates and final accounts documentation.
- Conduct client liaison activity; visits to the contractors to build relationships.
- Coach and motivate staff; identify learning opportunities for staff development and advancement; track work progress in order to build staff competence on the job and encourage motivation, pro-activeness and job satisfaction of all direct reports.
