Job Description

• Understand and undertake marketing strategies diligently to increase clients' awareness of the products and company.
• Able to communicate with external stakeholders such as developers, owners, consultants, piling contractors, trading house/ agent, local authorities and assocciations within the industry, etc. to understand their objectives and requirements to provide relevant design.
• Understand and able to follow up on each stage of the project life cycle from preliminary, designing, tendering , deferment, costing to award of tender.
• Involve in collecting info on competitors in term of product range and specifications, price, qualilty from the clients.
• Assist in conducting technical presentation to the direct and indirect clients.
• Involve in guiding the clients on factory visit.
• Understand the standards for design and product (MS1314, BS8004, JIS5337, etc).
• Demonstrate knowledge of products, its specifications, manufacturing and QC process.
• Able to identify pile defects, the inspection methods and acceptance criteria.
• Understand product costing and pricing, comparative advantages over the competitors' product on quality, strength and durability.
• Knowledge in the pile foundation design, installation process.
• Understand the various QC tests and product testing including bending test.
• Acquire the technical skill to persuade the Consultants/ Designers to specify the company products.
• Understand the sales process from inquiry to collection of payment.
• Knowledge of sales technique to introduce and convince the clients to use our products.
• Understand the needs of the clients on quallity and pricing including any special technical requirements.
• Prepare weekly technical report.
• Identify issues and challenges in marketing strategies.
• Review reports on clients complaints and customer satisfaction survey reports vs targeted quality objectives.
• Attend to the inquiry from the clients.
• Involve in production planning and advise production team on the delivery/ production schedule.
• Able to recommend clients on piling works after studying the soil investigation report.
• Familiar with the construction problems and site issues.
• Attend to site meeting and able to provide effective solutions and advice to clients.
• Identify and address the pile defects on site and give the solution immediately.
• Responsible for technical support for clients.
• Understand the credit control system including term of payment, credit application, security of payment and review and upgrade of credit limit.
