ENGINEER, PLANNING

Job Description

• Plan, develop, organize and monitor site activities and update the work programs accordingly.
• Prepare method statement and liaise with the project team and consultants on the planning and sequencing processes in meeting project requirements.
• Study, highlight and provide mitigation measures on delayed/ critical activities and resolve discrepancies of drawings and specifications.
• Track progress and prepare monthly reports according to schedule.
• Ensure efficient allocation of resources and all works are carried out based on the approved program.
• Prepare and submit EOT application.
• Assist and maintain quality records at the project site as per requirement / specification.
• Assist in supervision and inspection of site activities and other works as required by the Superior.

Requirement

• Possess a Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or its equivalent.
• Minimum 1-2 years in construction with planning experience with Primavera 6 or MS Project.
• Experience in planning for large-scale construction projects (Civil or Building).
• Good knowledge of developing a master construction programme.
• Strong analytical skills, meticulous and excellent presentation skill.
