Role Purpose
This role is a shared resource between IJM’s Group Human Resources and Corporate Communications departments. It supports HR’s employer branding and internal communications initiatives, while also contributing to IJM’s digital content strategy, brand storytelling and social media presence. The ideal candidate is digitally fluent, creative, and data-savvy — able to produce engaging visual and video content across platforms, and optimise it based on performance insights.
The role requires close collaboration with both departments and dotted-line reporting to Corporate Communications to ensure content consistency, brand alignment, and digital impact across channels.
Areas of Responsibility
1. Digital Media Strategy & Campaign Execution
- Plan, develop, and execute digital content and campaigns across web, social media, and paid platforms.
- Work closely with HR and Corporate Communications to tailor content to different audiences (e.g. talent attraction, employee engagement, corporate storytelling).
- Support campaign execution end-to-end, including ideation, content creation, scheduling, community management and post-campaign evaluation.
2. Content Creation & Media Production
- Capture, edit and produce high-quality photos and videos for internal and external use
- Design visually compelling digital materials that align with IJM’s brand identity.
- Develop engaging content formats such as employee story videos, reels, motion graphics, and social media carousels.
- Maintain and update the company’s digital content library (photos, videos, templates).
3. Employer Branding & Internal Communications Support
- Collaborate with HR to conceptualise and produce content that supports recruitment, onboarding, internal HR events, and culture-building campaigns.
- Produce content that humanises the workplace –showcasing IJM’s corporate culture, employee stories, workplace highlights , and recruitment drives.

4. Corporate Digital Platforms and Internal Communications
- Assist Corporate Communications in managing content publishing and community engagement across IJM’s social media platforms and corporate website.
- Support internal communications campaigns with creative media assets
- Ensure timely content updates and alignment with broader corporate messaging.
5. Analytics, Monitoring & Reporting
- Track performance metrics across platforms (Google Analytics, Meta Insights, LinkedIn Analytics, etc.).
- Assess reach, engagement, and content effectiveness and provide recommendations to optimise performance.

6. Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate and align with stakeholders from HR, Corporate Communications and other departments on content requirements and priorities.
- Manage relationships with external vendors (agencies, freelancers, production houses) when required.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Media, Marketing, Mass Communication, Multimedia, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in digital media production, content creation, digital marketing or corporate communications.
Technical Skills:
- Photography and videography (shooting, lighting, sound)
- Video editing (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar)
- Graphic design tools (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, etc.)
- Managing and publishing content across social media platforms
- Experience with motion graphics or animation tools
Requirements
- Familiarity with digital content trends, SEO principles, and audience segmentation.
- Proficient in using digital tools and platforms to track, measure and analyse content performance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly creative, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects independently under tight deadlines.
