Job Description

•    Assist in the implementation of Occupational Safety & Health and Environment requirements at the site
•    Perform periodical inspection at the site to identify potential hazards to the health and safety of staff and users
•    Assist in evacuation and emergency drills and conduct investigations of accidents at the site
•    Raise health, safety and environment issues to Head of Department where appropriate
•    Adhere to the safety, health and environment rules and procedures, as well as relevant policies and work instructions to ensure compliance with the Company’s HSE, Quality, and environmental requirements
•    Assist the HOD in ensuring all approved policies, procedures and procedures are disseminated in a proper and timely manner within the department and where applicable, throughout the department/company.
•    Develop, implement and maintain an effective program for safety, environment and traffic and ensure compliance of local legislation
•    Responsible to identify unsafe acts, conditions and hazards, investigate root causes and report to management
•    Prepare accident investigation report and provide technical input accordingly/as and when require;
•    Monitor the proposed improvement works (congestion or potential accident)
•    Attend/respond to emergency calls – 24 hours.
